My first bed in Montreal was the mezzanine of a loft; here, I sing Au Clair de la Lune at a fragmented pace, and occasionally rock the scaffold back and forth using only my body weight. While practicing this classic tune, I realized that I had become a child again, in my earnest attempts to learn French.
