In the Summer of 2013, I worked in "residency" as a clerk at the Vancouver Sex Shop "the Fantasy Factory". During my two months there, I created a series of books by hand; the performative nature of sewing and writing in-situ produced a chronicle of personal investigations regarding pornographic culture. The above show the transcribed edition of one such book, titled SOOT.
